Helping Hands All Ways (HHAW) is a nonprofit organization committed to providing transitional housing.
trauma-informed care, workforce development, and supportive services to individuals and families affected by
incarceration, poverty, and homelessness. Through housing stability and holistic support, HHAW empowers
restored citizens to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to their communities.
Our Journey
Over a decade ago, our story began with the founding of Connie Home LLC by Calves Connie Blake in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. What started as one safe and supportive Adult Family Home (AFH) has grown into a network of six homes, each providing compassionate care for up to four women. Connie Home is HCBS compliant and serves individuals with diverse needs, including correctional clients, developmental disabilities, emotional disturbances, mental illness, dementia/Alzheimer’s, terminal illness, and traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Building on the success of Connie Home, we expanded our mission with Promises’ Homes LLC, an Ohio-based Foreign Limited Liability Company established in November 2021. Our first home in Columbus, Ohio, laid the foundation for a larger vision—creating more supportive housing opportunities across the state.

Today, that vision continues to grow through Helping Hands All Ways. We currently employ a dedicated team of 44 staff members and are committed to providing services that empower individuals to thrive. With programs focused on housing, community support, and outreach to underserved populations, we are proud to be building a future where stability and opportunity are accessible to all.

Mrs. Calves Connie Blake
Hi, my name is Calves Connie Haynes, I am the founder of Connie Home L.L.C. I have 7+ years of experience working with individuals who suffer with Traumatic Brain Injury, Mental Health, Post-Traumatic events that have a negative impact on their lives. I am responsible for educating others and my employees using Care Soft & Relias techniques. It is my goal to treat each one of our "partners" with as much respect, dignity and communication as if they were family.
